I keep thinking about the Fling, and how much fun we had.
The Fling is an annual gathering of garden bloggers who get together to tour gardens, to talk about gardens (our own and others’) and meet other bloggers and talk about blogs (our own, and others’). This year’s Garden Bloggers Fling was last weekend in Asheville, N.C. There were many beautiful gardens on the agenda, some of which I’ve posted notes about here and here.
On the Fling’s final days, we visited the mountaintop gardens of blogger (and Fling Planner Man) Christopher (Outside Clyde) and his mother, who we came to know as “Bulbarella” because of the many bulbs she has planted. Here’s a bit of what we saw:
Later, we enjoyed a short tour of Nan Chase’s small and edible front yard.
It’s almost June. What’s waiting for you out in the garden? Check the June Landscape & Garden Calendar in today’s Tennessean.
